Hi, I’m Troy Lawrence, founder of The Dapper Scrapper & Co. and a lifelong lover of preserving memories. For more than 30 years, I’ve worked as a teacher and librarian, helping people discover, learn, create, and connect through stories. My passion for photo preservation and memory keeping began in 1996, and since then I’ve spent countless hours organizing photographs, creating scrapbook albums, and helping others safeguard their treasured memories.
Today, I combine my backgrounds in education, libraries, and creative memory keeping to teach scrapbooking, photo scanning, and photo preservation classes designed for beginners and experienced memory keepers alike. I believe every photograph tells a story worth preserving, and I’m passionate about helping others transform boxes of photos into meaningful albums that can be shared with family for generations.
When I’m not teaching or scrapbooking, you’ll find me exploring family history, digitizing photographs, attending crops and creative events, or discovering new ways to preserve the stories that matter most. Through The Dapper Scrapper & Co., my goal is simple: to help others preserve the past in style while creating lasting memories and friendships along the way.
